Fall 2019 NCSU school project
Playing with 3D type requires designers to think in three dimensions, the X, Y, & Z axis.
In this project, I have applied 3D modeling techniques to explore the properties of typography in 3-dimensions. I chose Hakuna Matata (♫ it means no worries for the rest of your day♫ ) and designed it in 3 formats to explore:
Finding a relationship between the formal qualities of the letters and the meaning of the phrase.
if you are a fan of Lion King movie like me, then watch this with sound and sing it along!

Spring 2020 NCSU school project
For this project, we needed to make two videos with the same concept:
In the end, the idea was to compare the two studies. We were asked how the same information is designed differently within the same concept.
I chose the speeches of Greta Thunberg (climate activist) from her TedTalk and a short film about the climate crisis.
In this passionate call to action, Greta Thunberg explains why, in August 2018, she walked out of school and organized a strike to raise awareness of global warming, protesting outside the Swedish parliament and grabbing the world's attention. "The climate crisis has already been solved. We already have all the facts and solutions," Thunberg says. "All we have to do is to wake up and change."
I wanted to emphasize her words using typography animation.

Environmental activists Greta Thunberg and George Monbiot have helped produce a short film highlighting the need to protect, restore, and use nature to tackle the climate crisis. I took this opportunity to make an animation that illustrated their speeches.
